On Schedule
An update on the restarted construction is overdue so in this BLOG you can see some of the advances on our third luxury lodge and the first nature cabana, both of which are on schedule and still set to open at the end of September. The third lodge will be by far the most classical in its interior feel with white tiling and colonial style finishing under a fiber cement roof. Remember that we choose to use this type of roofing material on this lodge because its location has the highest elevation an we hope to one day collect rainwater for irrigation purposes.
The nature cabana is also starting to look very attractive and will be far from classical. The bamboo walls compliment the cane superbly and with the varnished finish still exude quality. The side facing Concepcion volcano will remain open so that when you wake-up inside your mosquito net you will welcomed by the view of all views. The outdoor shower completes the 'nature' feel of this cabin.
The final picture shows the birds-eye view of the property where you can see the first nature cabana (Guanacaste) in the foreground, Tonatiu Lodge with the pyramid roof in the middle, our third Lodge (Echecatl) on the right with the red roof and the main lodge with our 8 solar panels on the storage building at the back.
