Rain

On Friday the 9th of May we formally celebrated the completion of the road to the top of the property and the afternoon was a great success. There was an abundance of food, drink, music and a gift for all the staff including the twelve individuals leaving the team. As the focus of the work now shifts entirely to construction of the cabins and the bar&restaurant we are reducing the workforce slightly. The party has come at a symbolic moment as one day later we enjoyed the first real rains of the season!

We were lucky to have Frans van Loef here from the supervisory board who was able to join us for the party. His quick visit has been a real benefit in gaining a fresh perspective on where the project is and how we can best realize our objectives in order to assure our soft launch in October. Besides the work on the first manager's cottage all attention is now focussed on the top of the property where the heart of the project will be. The first cabin is advancing rapidly and excavation on the bar&restaurant is underway.
