Metal Jungle
As you have been able to follow over the past weeks and months the various construction projects are steadily rising out of the ground and although there is a long way to go the progress is unrelenting. It appears at the moment more like a metal jungle rather than a tropical jungle but rest assured that many hundreds of trees have been planted that will quickly fill in the empty spaces. This year especially we have planted a great many Malinche trees which are indigenous, grow fast and put out an impressive red flower that has given it the nickname ´honeymoon tree´ in english.

Due to its size the main lodge construction especially appears a maze of rebar but it won´t be long before these turn into a total of 44 posts.
Posts will be poured in the coming weeks on cabin 1 also and the holes for the footers for cabin 2 are also complete. This cabin will be built on an impressive floating deckthat will offer a majestic view.
Assuring a picturesque environment at the site of the lounge and restaurant is also a crucial element and Anielka has planted the first round of ornamentals in the gardens in front of the main lodge while Manuel continues to develope the network of paths connecting the various sites on the property.
